GIS substations in primtech

Planning GIS substations is a complex interplay between various stakeholders. Network operators put their requirements out to tender, planning service providers and consultants coordinate the project participants and GIS manufacturers deliver the product. A new building has to be planned or the GIS substation has to be integrated into an existing building.

primtech provides support in all planning steps with intelligent components and simulations in order to implement projects qualitatively and efficiently.

Buildings can either be planned directly with AutoCAD Architecture and MEP in primtech or integrated by Revit.

Phase routing incl. phase rotation and switching of the GIS systems

Conductors as well as intelligent primtech high-voltage cables can be connected to the GIS station. The cables automatically take into account the minimum bending radius and can be easily adapted, to get a physically correct cable routing.

GIS for concept planning and tenders

primtech offers a comprehensive GIS template library with manufacturer-neutral 3-pole GIS components.

All objects are modeled with simple geometries so that they can be adapted very quickly to your own project requirements.

GIS as an as-build operator model and digital twin

Detailed geometries from GIS manufacturers can be imported into primtech and the phase routing logic can be integrated.

The phase routing can simulate a phase rotation and the switching of the GIS substation.

Live data can be linked via prDI (primtech Data Integration) to create a real digital twin of the substation.
