We anticipated that we would have a fairly steep learning curve, and that we would need to adjust our way of thinking and our thought processes but the software is well written and logical and intuitive and each piece flows into the next piece. Before you’re quite done, you come to the realization that you’ve designed an entire substation.

primtech is great because it gives the design engineer the ability to see the product, i.e. the substation, very detailed, like we have never experienced - before the first brick is laid in the ground. This allows for more accurate bill of materials and cost estimation, which goes a long way in minimizing variation orders during project implementation.

Our training program, based on primtech INSIDE and our own Sharepoint site, gets new and yet less experienced employees to a usable level fast. This has been key in ensuring that our team can focus on what matters – designing substations, not modeling objects from scratch.
